Growing your audience is an essential part of streaming, and the Streamlabs Follower Goal widget helps you track your progress in real time. This widget allows you to set a target number of followers and display it on your stream, encouraging viewers to support you by following.

How to Set up Follower Goals in Streamlabs Dashboard:
Step 1: Log into your Streamlabs.com Dashboard, select All Widgets from the left navigation bar, then find Follower Goal. You can also click on this direct link to get where you need to be.
Step 2: Start by managing your goal by doing the below:
- Choose which events the goal applies to (e.g., you can use for all platforms or just select a few)
- Give your goal a title, goal amount, and set a starting amount
- Set an end date for the goal
Step 3: Customize your font by changing the style, color, and bar text color to your desired palette to match your brand or aesthetic.
Step 4: Determine how you want your progress bar to appear on screen, including the layout, colors, and thickness.
Note: You can change the background color for the overall widget right below the preview. Also, the numbers shown in the preview are sample data. Please add a widget source to your streaming tool or launch the widget to view your current goal.
Step 5: Lastly, enable custom HTML/CSS if you prefer to fine-tune and customize the appearance of your widget this way.
Step 6: When you’re done editing your settings, click the Start Goal button to start tracking your progress.
Step 7: Once your settings are saved and you’ve started your goal, click the widget URL to get the URL to add to streaming software like OBS Studio. Even easier, if you’re using the Streamlabs Plugin for OBS, add your widget directly from the plugin.

How to Create a Follower Goal in Streamlabs Desktop:
Similarly to your Streamlabs Dashboard, you can set up the Follower Goal widget directly in Streamlabs Desktop. Here’s how.
Step 1: Navigate to the Streamlabs Desktop source panel, select the plus sign (+), and find the Follower Goal widget in the widget list. Click Add Source to add to your setup.
Step 2: Name your source, then hit Add Source again.
Note: If you created a Follower Goal in your Streamlabs Dashboard, it should auto-populate with whatever title you gave it. Double-check the customizations, then click Done to add the widget to your stream and skip to step 4.
Step 3: Next, customize the goal by setting a specific follower goal amount, start amount, and end date.
You can also customize the visual settings to change the color of the fonts, background, and progress.

Under Source, you can apply custom CSS and make changes to specific properties of the widget, such as the audio controls, custom frame rate, shutdown when inactive, and browser refresh.

Step 4: After you made all changes, click Done to add the Followers Goal widget to your live stream layout. Drag and resize the widget as you wish.
