We asked creators this and we’re excited to be hosting #CreatorsForGood, bringing together some awesome creators and streamers from all backgrounds to share how they use their platform to make a positive impact in the world. This 24-hour live streaming event is happening on August 17, in celebration of National Nonprofit Day.
We’re psyched to build a community of creators who are utilizing their platform to do good together, in support of the most critical issues right now, like mental health, gun violence, and supporting the refugee crisis in Ukraine. And even causes that have long been important and still need our attention more than ever, like fighting for climate action, advocating for gender equality, and achieving zero hunger. And we’re also excited to offer some exclusive fundraising rewards – participating creators can unlock prizes from an exclusive t-shirt, to a PS5 or Xbox for a giveaway, and even an all-expenses paid trip to TwitchCon in San Diego!

What is Do Good Points?
For many of us, we have the best intentions of doing good – whether that’s learning about the different causes that are important to us, donating to support nonprofit organizations, or even spending more time volunteering. But then life gets busy and we just don’t get around to it.
At Do Good Points, our mission is to activate the next generation of do-gooders. With the average age of donors being 64, and with most nonprofits lacking the budget or skills to reach a younger demographic, we knew that a change was needed.
