Sometimes, chasing one dream leads you to another. FragileGFX began with a love for gaming and streaming-but along the way, discovered a passion for design that opened new doors. This spotlight explores how pivoting within a creative space can be just as rewarding as the original path, especially when you're creating with purpose and passion.
Q: Tell us about FragileGFX. Who/what is FragileGFX?
A creative studio that had a passion for gaming and streaming both at the same time, which evolved into creating designs. Two founders with the same vision to reach their goals through crafting art.
Q: How long has FragileGFX been making theme packages?
Since 2019, as a freelancing agency, we have created over 800 custom designs for streamers all over the world. After that, we started our pre-made graphics journey in 2021 to create over 200 different themes.
Q: Why do you have an interest in the live streaming industry?
As many gamers do, we had a distant dream of starting our own streaming channel, which required special preparation. Keeping this in mind, we began creating our own designs to enter the streaming world. However, we soon found ourselves focusing more on designing and creating than on streaming.
Q: What was the moment that made you say to yourself, "I want to be a designer"?
Right after we discovered how enjoyable creating graphics could be, we realized it felt more like a hobby than just a task. The exhilaration we felt after producing something new was what motivated us to continue.
Q: If there's anything you could go back and tell yourself before starting out in this industry, what would it be?
- Quality should always take precedence over quantity
- Create what you believe will provide a satisfying user experience
Q: What are some of your favorite hobbies outside of design?
We actually love our jobs that we can take anywhere and everywhere. We like to travel, and we love the sea and also the mountains. Basically, we love to have some nature time now and then in our lives.
Q: Do you have a favorite game?
That would be Death Stranding for sure, 100% ✅. Can't wait for part two. 🤯
Q: What inspired you to create your own business?
The desire to have the financial freedom to do anything at any time.
Q: What are your favorite packages you've made to date?
For sure, it was Retro Lofi and Pirate Hunter.
Q: Describe your design process for creating theme packages.
Idea, create a concept, sketch, drawing and designing, animate, polish-done!
Q: If you could design a package for any streamer, who would it be?
It will be NightBlue3, Shroud, and NickEh30.
Q: If you could instantly become an expert in something, what would it be and why?
That would definitely be game development. We are eager to start creating games, beginning with a 2D pixel game.
Q: What would you like to do when you retire?
Travel the world, see different cultures, and experience each and every country.
Q: What would you like to be known/remembered for?
Having an impact in the world, in every detail we do, is our main goal. Additionally, we want to be remembered for having created something truly unique.
Q: Do you have any advice for aspiring designers/creatives?
Eat healthy, exercise, sleep well, and have the quality time that you deserve. Remember you need to take care of your body so your mind is able to create.
