If one of your goals as a content creator is to bring in income, you likely know that sharing products and services you love with your community via affiliate programs can be a great way to earn additional income. In order to support your goals and get Streamlabs in the hands of as many creators as possible, we are revamping the Ultra affiliate program. In this guide we’ll walk through how the affiliate program works, how you can join, and steps you should take if you’re an existing affiliate.

What is the Streamlabs Ultra affiliate program?
The Ultra affiliate program allows you to earn money when you recommend Streamlabs Ultra to your friends and community. The program is managed via the Impact partnership program and once you join you will be provided with affiliate links to share with your community.
When you share these links with your community, they will receive a free 7-day trial of Streamlabs Ultra. You will get paid a commission anytime someone uses your link and converts to a paying subscriber. You will earn $10 for each monthly subscription purchased and $20 for each annual subscription purchased using your link.
Trials that don’t convert to paying subscriptions or any refunded subscriptions or chargebacks are not eligible for commission.
How do I join the affiliate program?
Since our affiliate program is managed in Impact, you will need to create an Impact account and apply to the program. Keep reading for full instructions:
- Sign up to join the Ultra affiliate program from our application here by clicking Sign up.
- Read and accept the program terms by clicking Accept.
- Choose your preferred sign up method and follow any prompts.
- Choose your business model. In most cases, Creator is the best selection.
- Add at least one channel you plan to use to promote your affiliate links. This could be your Instagram, Twitch, or other social accounts.
- Provide the requested sign-up information. Be sure to verify the correct currency before continuing, as it cannot be updated later.
- If you want to access other affiliate programs on Impact, you can continue on to complete your profile, otherwise, click Return to account at the top right of the page.
- Your application is now complete! Log out of your account and back in to access the program immediately.
How do I access my affiliate links?
Once you are signed up for the affiliate program, you can access your links in two ways.
Option 1: Simple Link
- To get a simple link, click the link icon in the left navigation.
- From the popup that opens, click Create, then copy the link that appears.
Option 2: Images and Links
In order to help you promote your link successfully, we have created assets for your social profiles to go along with your links. To access assets and associated links follow these steps:
- Click Content and Assets.
- You should now see available images. For this example, let’s grab an asset for your Twitch profile. Click on Ultra Twitch Panel 1.
- Click Download from the popup to download the image. Note:If you are downloading a video, hover over the video, click the three dots in the bottom right corner and click Download.
- Click Get Tracking Link on the left or Tracking Link at the top of the popout to access your tracking link and click CopyTracking Link.
- Upload the image and add the link wherever you want to share Ultra with your community. The Twitch panel items are the perfect size for adding to your Twitch profile and the Stories and Square assets are perfect for your other social profiles.
How do I track performance?
You can track your affiliate performance under the Reports option in your account. Note that conversions won’t appear in your account until the referee has purchased their paid subscription and may take some time to show in reporting.
When and how do I get paid?
Impact processes payments based on a few criteria: actions, locking dates, and payment dates.
- Actions are conversions from your affiliate links. For the Ultra affiliate program, an action is when someone pays for their Ultra subscription.
- Locking dates are the dates in which actions are locked for payment. Actions are locked on the 10th day of the month after they occur.
- Once actions are locked, they will be paid out after 45 days.
As an example, if you were to share a link with a friend on August 14th and they converted into a paid subscription on August 21st, the Subscription action would lock on September 10th and you will be paid on October 24th.
Your affiliate payments will be processed by Impact based on the preferred payment method and payout settings you have set up in your account. To set up your payment options click the three dots in the bottom left of your Impact account and click Settings.
Navigate to and fill out both the Bank Account and Tax Documents sections. Please note that both must be completed to pay you for your referrals. You can choose between Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) or PayPal for your payment and can choose if you want to be paid only when reaching certain earnings thresholds.
What should I do if I’m an existing affiliate?
If you are an existing Streamlabs affiliate, you should get your account set up with Impact as soon as you can. Once you have your new affiliate links, be sure to update any old links on the web as they will no longer be tracked starting September 15, 2024.
