How to Locate Streamlabs Widget URLs
To find widget URLs, you’ll need to access the Streamlabs Dashboard in your web browser.
Step 1: Go to the Streamlabs Dashboard and login to your account.
Step 2: In the left-hand sidebar under Streaming Essentials, find the widget you want to locate the URL for, such as Alert Box, Chat Box or Donation Ticker.
Step 3: On the widget settings page, find the Widget URL at the top of the page.
Step 4: Select the Click to Copy Widget URL to save the URL to your clipboard.
As an example, a Chat Box, the URL will look something like:
https://streamlabs.com/widgets/chat-box/abc123
How to Use Streamlabs Widget URLs
Now that you’ve located your widget URL, here’s how to use it in other broadcasting software like OBS Studio:
Step 1: Open OBS Studio (or any compatible streaming software).
Step 2: In the Sources panel, click the “+” icon and select Browser Source.
Step 3: Give your new source a name (e.g., Streamlabs Chat Box).
Step 4: Paste the widget URL into the URL field.
Step 5: If needed, adjust the width, height, and FPS settings to ensure the widget displays correctly.
Step 6: Click OK, and your widget will now appear on your stream preview.
