We want to share an important update about Streamlabs Music. Starting April 1st, 2025, the Streamlabs Music app will no longer be available in Streamlabs Desktop. We understand that many streamers have relied on this app for DMCA-free music, and we appreciate your support.
What This Means for You
- New users will no longer be able to install the Streamlabs Music app, as we are removing it from the app store on March 6, 2025.
- Existing users will continue to have access until the end of March 2025, then the app will stop working.
- Music used in past recorded streams and YouTube uploads will remain DMCA-free, so you won’t have to worry about copyright strikes on existing content made while using Streamlabs Music.
Alternative DMCA-Free Music Options
While Streamlabs Music is being discontinued, there are still some alternatives available in the Streamlabs App Store for streamers looking for copyright-safe music:
Pretzel

Pretzel is a streaming-friendly music platform designed specifically for creators and available directly through the Streamlabs App store. It offers a free plan that gives access to a basic library of DMCA-free tracks, meaning you can use them safely in your streams and YouTube videos without worrying about copyright issues.
Some great albums to check out are Uplifting, Chill Lofi Beats to Study to, and Game Time Vol. 7., each offering unique vibes to enhance your stream depending on what you’re looking for. Keep in mind that Pretzel may allow free users to play entire albums, but you must upgrade to premium to play individual tracks (interactive mode) or build playlists.
For creators wanting more, Pretzel also has a premium subscription that unlocks a much more extensive catalog of music.
Slip.Stream
With an extensive library of songs and sound effects, Slip.Stream has been trusted by top creators like Clix, FaZe Blaze, and T-Pain. Streamlabs Ultra subscribers get access to the full collection of DCMA-free music to use in their content as they best see fit.
